What is Our Weekly Eblast?
In addition to our website event and blog postings, the FUUN Communication Team sends out a weekly email with upcoming plans for worship and religious education, announcements for church programming and broader UU events, as well as social action initiatives hosted by both the FUUN Social Justice Team and our local/national partners.
What’s Featured in the Midweek Messages?
Our Minister, Rev. Diane Dowgiert, shares a blurb each week in our eblast that highlights how we, as Unitarian Universalists, can be in shared ministry with one another. What is Shared Ministry? Shared ministry lives out the affirmation that all people are called to ministry. As members of a faith community, we are invited to serve together in a spirit of mutuality as partners. Working cooperatively, we strive to discover, develop, utilize, and support the gifts of each person and, as responsible stewards, to participate in the ongoing creative and restoring activity in our communities and the world.
